On Saturday, May 9, 2026, STMIK Tazkia, an IT campus in Bogor, received a visit from Prof. Dr. Ir. Sri Nurdiati, M.Sc. of IPB University for the kickoff of the Guru Besar Infokom Mengabdi (GBIM) — Distinguished Professor Community Service — program initiated by Aptikom, the Indonesian Association of Higher Education Institutions in Informatics and Computing. The meeting took place at the STMIK Tazkia Meeting Room and marked the beginning of an eight-month academic mentorship, from May 1 to December 31, 2026.

What is the GBIM Program?
GBIM is a community service program for Distinguished Professors in the field of Informatics and Computing, organized under Aptikom as a tangible contribution by senior professors to improve the quality of Informatics and Computing study programs across Indonesia. Through this program, mentee institutions receive direct mentorship from a Distinguished Mentor Professor at no cost — in the spirit of academic service.
The GBIM 2026 program between STMIK Tazkia and Prof. Sri Nurdiati is conducted primarily online, with periodic in-person visits such as today’s kickoff at the Bogor campus.
